Have you ever wanted to write a song of your own? Now you can at the HUBworks songwriting class! We will learn about the characteristics of a good song, write songs of our own, and record our songs in the Hubworks recording studio!

This class will teach the basics of all the instruments in the studio band: guitar, bass, keyboard, and drum set. We will learn simple pop-style songs and record them together in the studio. All instruments provided!

Come and explore the music of Trinidad at West View HUBworks! Students will have opportunities to explore and learn music on different kinds of steel drums. At the end of the week, students will record in our studio and put on a performance for family and friends!

This class is for all students interested in learning the basics to improvising their own jazz solo. We will play jazz charts in a variety of styles and practice different approaches to creating an improvised solo. At the end of the week, students will get to record their performance of each chart– solos included!
